About: The West Islip Council of Parent Teacher Associations has a long history of bringing the community together to donate blood, which is collected by Long Island Blood Services (LIBS).

According to LIBS, patients across Long Island need close to 2,000 volunteers daily to donate blood. Without donors, the local community would not have an adequate supply of blood.
