The West Islip community is invited to kick off the holiday season and celebrate the 37th Annual Festival of Lights on Sunday, Dec. 2.
The festivities, sponsored by the West Islip Chamber of Commerce, along with the West Islip Beautification Society and American Legion Post 1738, will start at 4 p.m. at the corner of Udall Road and Higbie Lane.
In addition to the lighting ceremony, attendees can enjoy live entertainment and refreshments.
Santa will make a guest appearance at the American Legion Post. The event is free and open to everyone.
