Community Corner

The Bristal Assisted Living to Open in Sayville

The Bristal Assisted Living will open its eleventh community at 129 Lakeland Avenue in Sayville in early summer to meet the growing needs of a segment of the region’s population that insists on enhancing their quality of life while remaining close to the families they love during their retirement years.

The Bristal Assisted Living communities have been critically acclaimed for their elegant surroundings, active recreational calendar and personal care assistance, provided by a caring and seasoned staff. The Bristal offers the highest standards in design, comfort and safety, in a community that recognizes that assisted living can, and should, foster feelings of independence, security and socialization.

In opening The Bristal at Sayville, Lara Serro, Executive Director, who had served in the same position at the Bristal’s East Meadow community for over twelve years said, We know Long Island, we understand the needs of our residents and the concerns of their families. Our staff has been carefully selected to provide the level of care that Long Islanders have come to expect from the Bristal. I am excited by the opportunity to help residents begin this new chapter of life, and confident that we will meet their expectations.”

With a cinema, library, billiards parlor and fitness center, residents can enjoy themselves right in the comfort of the Bristal community.

A Special Commitment to those facing Alzheimer’s

The Bristal is staffed with experienced professionals who are trained and equipped to enhance the quality of life for these special-needs residents and their families. It provides an environment that allows individuals to maintain their dignity while allowing families to be free of the enormously draining role of primary caregiver.

The Bristal at Sayville has 85 assisted living suites, and 51 additional suites that are located in the Reflections area and dedicated to providing care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. Prices begin at $3500 a month with Reflections units starting at $6200 a month.
