The store associates at the Bay Shore The Home Depot would like to invite the local community to learn how to prepare for the hurricane and storm season.
The store will hold four workshops on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., to cover the different phases of the storm including preparation, duration, clean up and rebuilding.
There also will be a Kids Workshop on how to build a battery organizer. The store will donate three hurricane safety kits to the Town of Islip for needy families. There will be representatives on hand from the Bay Shore Fire Department, American Red Cross and FEMA.
The Bay Shore Home Depot is looked at 1881 Sunrise Highway.
