The Week Ahead: BOE Meeting, Women of West Islip Comedy Night

Network with the West Islip Chamber of Commerce on Monday at The Lion's Den from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be light refreshments, a cash bsr, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Admission is free.

Toddlers and their parents can enjoy storytime at the library on Tuesday. Storytime for tots ages 24 months to 41 months will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

The West Islip Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the high school. The board will also adopt the budget for the 2013-2014 school year.

On Thursday, the Women of West Islip will host their annual Comedy Night at McGuire's in Bohemia. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. admission is $20.

The West Islip Public Library is also showing a free movie Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be served.
