Islip Shelter Animals of the Week

Looking for snow dogs to pull your sleigh this winter? Meet Huskies Keisha and Keimo.

The Town of Islip Animal Shelter is home to many lovable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that are desperately looking to join the right family.  The shelter takes great pride in providing a clean and caring environment for all of their pets.

Keisha and Keimo are a match made in Husky heaven. The Islip Animal Shelter reports the pair is most definitely in puppy love.

The lady in the relationship, Keisha is a beautiful adult Siberian Husky. She is sporting a gorgeous sable-colored winter coat. Not only does Keisha like to cozy up to Keimo but the shelter reports she loves people. She is an active dog built for the outdoors.

If you enjoy going for a run, Keisha is the perfect canine companion. To find out more about Keisha come visit her at the shelter. She is neutered and up-to-date on all of her routine shots and vaccinations. Her Pet ID Tag number is 3664.

Keimo arrived at the shelter with Keisha. He is also a Siberian Husky looking for a home with his doggie date. Keimo has a need for speed. This guy enjoys running and playing, especially with his other half, Keisha.

The shelter says he is very friendly and while he loves to let loose in the great outdoors, he is calm and relaxed once inside. This doggy duo enjoys the cool weather and they would make a great addition to a snowball fight!

Keimo is neutered and up-to-date on all of his routine shots and vaccinations. His Pet ID Tag number is 3665.

All animals at the shelter (210 South Denver Avenue, Bay Shore) are vaccinated, spayed and neutered before leaving. The organization requires a pet adoption fee along with a pet application which can be found on the their website.
