The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.  A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

• On Jan. 14, Joseph Fitt, of East Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with criminal misconduct.
• On Jan. 16, Robert Lorenz, of N. Babylon, was arrested in West Islip and charged with criminal misconduct.
• On Jan. 17, Walter Hoffman, of West Islip, was arrested in Copiague and charged with petit larceny.
• On Jan. 19, Joseph Ferraiolo, of West Islip, was arrested in Shirley and charged for sex abuse.
• On Jan. 20, Malachi McKenzie, of Bayport, was arrested in West Islip and charged with resisting arrest.
• On Jan. 20, Kristen Palankay, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with DWI.

Incidents

• On Jan. 14, there was a report of burglary on Pease Lane at 11:20 a.m.
• On Jan. 15, there was a report of aggravated harassment on Montauk Highway at 2:49 p.m.
• On Jan. 17, there was a report of grand larceny on Montauk Highway at 4:30 p.m.
