Wrestling Falls to East Islip in Season Opener
Captain Tyler Walsh wins Outstanding Wrestler Award.

West Islip Wrestling took second at their season opener falling to East Islip, 44 to 31, in the finals of Bay Shore's "Cliff Clark Duals". The team had three big wins starting with Bay Shore, 62 to 19, Manhasset 60 to 19 and Copiague 56 to 24. Senior captain, Tyler Walsh, won the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award with three pins and one technical fall. West Islip will travel upstate to compete at the Clarkstown North Tournament this Saturday.
